Off I went to visit a friend. Everything went smoothly as I arrived at the airport, checked my bags, made it through security and finally boarded the airplane. We taxied out to the runway and took off and I settled back for an uneventful flight. About thirty minutes into the flight, there was a loud bang, the plane shuddered, and the oxygen masks deployed!
